Welcome to Lost Creek Etching, Inc.
When my father passed away in 2004, I searched for someone to engrave a river stone to memorialize him so that I could place it next to the grave sites of his favorite horse “Bubba” and his favorite dog “Gus”.
It was this final act of love for my father that inspired me to start my own business in stone etching and use my love for animals to continue to inspire me.
As a self-taught sandblasting etcher, I went through a lot of stones to perfect my art. (No lasers used)
What started with pet memorials, which I call Paw Prints in Stone, has grown to everything from memorials of both animals and people to garden stones, fundraiser bricks, monuments, address markers, signs, personalized gifts in stone and glass…the list goes on.
I worked for many years as a veterinary assistant and etched part time. With my husband’s behind the scenes support, my business continues to grow and I am now able to etch full time.
I love what I do and hope that you will love my work as well!
